Welcome to LaunchBar for Windows!!!

To install Launch Bar, un-zip all files to a common
directory - such as C:\WINDOWS\LBAR.

This text file will just tell you how to create a new icon
in Program Manager.  To complete the following steps, you
should have Program Manager started and open on the screen.

1.  Decide which group you would like LaunchBar to reside in.
    - The "StartUp" group is recommended if you would like 
      LaunchBar to start automatically when you enter Windows.

2.  Find that group and maximize it.

3.  Go to the "File" menu and select "New".

4.  When the "New Program Object" dialog box appears, make
    sure "Program Item" is selected, then press "Ok".

5.  A dialog box will appear that will have boxes labeled
    as below.  Enter the values indicated:

    Title               Value to enter
    ==================  ==============================
    Description:        LaunchBar
    Command Line:       C:\WINDOWS\LBAR\LBAR.EXE
    Working Directory:  C:\WINDOWS\LBAR
    Shortcut key:       None
    Run Minimized:      <There should be _NO_ "X" here>

    Press the "Ok" button when you are finished.

6.  Double click on the new "LaunchBar" icon.  LaunchBar 
    will start and appear in the upper left hand corner 
    of your screen.  For more information setting up 
    the icons displayed, right click on the top button
    titled "LBar", and select "Help".

    There is also a file called "LBAR.WRI" in the 
    C:\WINDOWS\LBAR directory.  This gives a brief intro.
